Very quaint and inviting. Cake and coffee taste very good.
As with every vacation in the area, there has to be a stop here. Cozy and delicious cake. The egg grog is unbeatable, even if the glasses were bigger. The current ones are ideal for drivers. We will be back
The moment you step into the rustic pub, which is lovingly furnished in an antique style, you can feel this unique, wonderful atmosphere of a long tradition. Very friendly welcome from the boss. Recommended, worth seeing, a must if you are in the area. Delicious cake and milk coffee, very friendly and fast service. We would like to come again
A very nice, rustic pub with a great history and long tradition. The guided tour is particularly recommended, because only the history of the house brings the old stone to life and fills the individual rooms with associations. The owner tries very hard not to change the style despite the necessary renovation work. For this incredible attention to detail and the great commitment to the family tradition 5/5 stars.
Due to the currently valid corona rules, the service was not great. You were ordered around like in the military and treated unkindly. In addition, long waiting times. I would have given the cake 5 stars.
Great food. Great service. Tasted very tasty.
Unfortunately the service was very bad. We were assigned a table directly, only the service staff passed us without taking an order. The whole thing lasted 30 minutes. Then finally someone came and what should we say, half of the order came only the cake, which we were looking forward to it did not come. Paying was difficult too. It's a shame because we only really know it is well organized.
A great pub. We love to be there. Just did a tour of the house, it was very good, with a lot of information about the house.
Very cozy pub on the bike path. Delicious cake, unfortunately the crabs were out today. Definitely worth a stop!
The reviews were good! The service is expandable! But otherwise everything is perfect! We are going again!
After about 3/4 hour, 1/2 of our order came. Even when I asked twice whether the remaining part of our order would come in the near future, nothing happened. The pub is beautiful, unfortunately the organization leaves a lot to be desired. Too bad . For the stars to be assigned, my rating is -1
Nice atmosphere - completely overwhelmed service. You are assigned a seat, but you are not allowed to sit there until the table has been disinfected after approx. 15 minutes. The cake does not come with the coffee, but 20 minutes later ...
Finally open again. Wonderful cake, places under the linden trees and a nice schnack. Always my pleasure.
On Wednesday the 19th of August we went on a bike tour from Büsum to Tönning, over the Eider Barrage. On the way back we looked forward to stopping for lunch in Kating in the Andresen pub. We arrived there at 1:50 p.m. and drove as usual from the left side to the inn, where the waitresses had just started cleaning the tables outside. When I asked about a seat, I was made abruptly, unfriendly and loudly pointed out that it was only open from 2 p.m. and that we should kindly come to the restaurant from the other side. My wife rides an electric recumbent bike with 3 wheels that is difficult to handle in a confined space. The staff didn't care and just gave me another loud and abrupt answer. 4 other cyclists also noticed and drove on immediately without stopping. What a pity. We were often with old Wilhelm Andresen on every vacation and were always happy to see him, to talk to him and to bring him a little something from our home on the Moselle. But this time we experienced something that we did not expect. That was our last visit to the Andresen pub in Kating. We keep fond memories of the wonderful hours in the pub and of course those with Wilhelm Andresen. We only give a star that it is published By the way, we stopped for dinner on our trip in Büsum where we met 2 of the cyclists and they no longer go to the pub.
The boss is very friendly, the service well. You have to be there early to get a place. The food and the cakes were good.
Delicious cake and a wonderful gem or ambience
Would always like to come here again. An original Eiderstedter with historical tile room and antique furniture. You have to have experienced it. Great cakes and breads, good service. It could get very busy. And just hang the jackets on the wardrobe, otherwise there is "trouble" ;-)
A great location, a little out of the way but very romantic. Also suitable for groups. Very lovingly furnished, a tour of the premises and the barn is a must. If you like it quiet, but special and tasty, this is the right place. We liked it very much, we are close again, we will definitely come back :-)
Fantastically beautiful place. Super delicious egg grog.
Super!
A highly recommended place. The wreck pie is an absolute must. A very dignified atmosphere. And if you like Eiergrog, you have to enjoy this drink, which is legendary in this economy, of course ... Full points..
A very nicely place to drink a "Kännchen" Coffee or Tea and have a cake.
👍👍👍👍👍👍. Top
